1. Overview
Self-Care Diary respects and protects your privacy.
Our app is designed primarily for offline personal journaling. Any data you enter stays on your device unless you explicitly export or back it up yourself.
We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal or usage data to our servers or any third party.

2. Information We Do Not Collect
  • We do not collect personal identifiers (name, email, phone).
  • We do not use analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs.
  • We do not store diary entries, media, or location data on any remote server.
All content stays locally on your device.

3. Data Stored on Your Device
All diary entries, photos, voice notes, and related data are stored securely within the app’s private storage.
Only you have access to these files unless you choose to share or back them up.
You can delete all app data anytime by:
  • Clearing app data from system settings, or
  • Using the in-app “Delete all data” option (if available).

5. Optional Features and Data Handling
All permissions are optional.
The app requests each permission only when required for a specific feature.
Denying a permission will simply disable that feature — the rest of the app continues to work normally.

6. Backup and Export
If you use the backup/export feature, your diary data is stored in a local file (JSON, ZIP, or PDF).
You may then save it to your preferred location (e.g., internal storage or Google Drive) using Android’s standard file picker.
The app never uploads or accesses these backups itself.

7. Children’s Privacy
Self-Care Diary is suitable for users aged 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Security
  • Data stored locally in app storage is protected by Android sandboxing.
  • Optional biometric or PIN lock enhances personal privacy.
  • No background data transfer or hidden API access.

9. Your Rights
You can:
  • Deny or revoke permissions anytime in Device Settings → Apps → Self-Care Diary → Permissions.
  • Delete all app data manually.
  • Export or back up your data for personal use.

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to comply with new legal or platform requirements.
Updates will appear within the app and on our official listing. Continued use means acceptance of the revised version.
